Koala Invest has helped another client in acquiring the perfect investment property. Our client wanted to buy a property with high rental income and rental yield and had certain other requirements: total investment of under $650,000 and minimum block size of 500 sq. meters.

Based on the client’s expectations and our analysis, we recommended the best option to be a dual occupancy in the high-growth Hunter region. We recommended a 3+2 dual occupancy on a 582 sq. meter block of land in the suburb of Raymond Terrace, 26kms north of Newcastle. The client bought the investment package for a total of $616,110, a great price for the area.

With this purchase, our client is expected to gain an excellent rental return of 700 p/w, which would indicate a rental yield of 6%. This is almost double the rental yield of what one would obtain in Sydney!
